As the leaves rustled on the camouflage of the snipper. He stared through the gun sight watching for his next victim (like a tiger stalking his prey). Bang! The U.S sniper shot the enemy. Bamm! Thousand of allied soldiers stormed through the ground with no mercy. Taking no prisoners. German generals betrayed their country and killed their Lieutenants and majors. With the Nazi's gone and Japan surrendering Italy was their only opponents. They had cornered upper Italy and gained land every day. At the end of the war, Italy surrended from the slaughter by the American soldiers and the rest of the other allied soldiers.
Thank you for entering this week's 100 Word Challenge.
I enjoyed reading your story.
You have really engaged the reader as you have chosen some very powerful and effective words. You have also written clearly so we can easily follow the action. Well done!
I liked your simile " like a tiger stalking his prey" and your sound words - Boom and Bamm.
Like many of the boys in my class I sense that you have an interest in the World Wars. Keep up the good work!
I look forward to reading more adventures from you during the year.
